Tiffany Williams-Rice
District 7 - State House
"Throughout my career across healthcare, social services, and education, I have worked to support individuals, families, and communities. I have led initiatives, improved systems, and partnered across sectors to strengthen services and outcomes. As an elementary educator and former healthcare leader, I bring the ability to understand complex challenges and take meaningful action. I am running for the State House to be a strong voice for our community and to advocate for families."

Bismarck, ND — Bismarck resident Tiffany Williams-Rice has announced she is seeking the Democratic-NPL Party’s endorsement for District 7 of the state legislature at the party’s February 7 Region 6 District Convention in Bismarck.

“I’ve watched families struggle with rising healthcare costs and the affordability of everyday living, and I know too many people are being left out of decisions that affect their lives,”  Williams-Rice explained as her motivation for running, adding, “I don’t agree with the direction our state is heading, and I’m ready to partner with you, advocate for you, and serve District 7.”

She was also motivated by a relative, a former mayor in Michigan, who inspired her and encouraged her to get involved.

Williams-Rice, an elementary teacher with Bismarck Public Schools, earned her undergraduate degree at the University of North Dakota, a master’s degree in healthcare from Colorado State University, and a master’s degree in education from the University of Washington-Seattle.

Williams-Rice is married and has one child currently attending college.
